A Better Tool for Supporting Customers
Friday, October 2, 2009 at 1:32PM Ever thought "I wish I could just showthem what I mean"? Now you can. We've completed work on our new "Advanced Remote Support" system. It's used to improve phone support sessions. Each party, with permission, can see the other's screen.
If you've used WebEx or GoToMeeting, you have a feel for what we're talking about. But this tool is far simpler to use. In other systems there are a number of steps to connect. In AMS Advanced Remote Support you approve the session when prompted. That's it, you're connected in just one step.
With your okay we view your computer screen to observe a problem. Or take control of your computer to help with your question. Or watch us walk you through a task.
We've been using it since February. Feedback from customers and our support staff has been very positive.
